Job Title: Assistant Manager HR & Compliance

Reporting To: HR Head

Location: Dombivli, Maharashtra

Experience: 6-10 Years

Role Purpose To independently manage end-to-end HR Operations for the Dombivli manufacturing site and oversee labour law and statutory compliance across all company sites, covering both employees and contract workforce.

Key Responsibilities

- HR Operations Dombivli Site
- Manage end-to-end HR Operations for the Dombivli manufacturing site.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities including joining, onboarding, transfers, promotions, confirmation, attendance, leave, performance processes, and exit formalities.
- Manage employee relations and address employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Coordinate manpower planning and workforce requirements with site management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Drive HR policies, processes, employee engagement initiatives, and HR activities at the site.
- Coordinate with Payroll, Recruitment, Administration, and other HR teams for smooth HR operations.
- Labour Law & Statutory Compliance All Sites
- Manage and ensure end-to-end labour law and statutory compliance across all company locations.
- Ensure compliance related to both permanent employees and contract labour/workforce.
- Ensure timely compliance under applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, and other applicable regulations.
- Manage statutory registers, records, returns, notices, licenses, renewals, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with government/statutory authorities, labour department officials, inspectors, and external consultants.
- Manage labour law inspections, audits, notices, and statutory queries and ensure timely closure.
- Monitor contractor compliance,



including statutory registrations, employee records, wages, PF, ESI, and other applicable requirements.
- Ensure compliance of contract labour deployment and documentation across sites.
- Keep the organization updated on changes in labour laws and advise management on their applicability and implementation.

MIS & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare and maintain HR and compliance MIS for management review.
- Coordinate with Site Heads, HR, Finance, Administration, contractors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure timely reporting and closure of HR and compliance-related issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee and compliance records.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate in HR, Labour Laws, Commerce, or related discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in HR Operations and Labour Law/Statutory Compliance.
- Robust experience in manufacturing/chemical/pharma/engineering/process industry preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing site HR operations and factory workforce.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance, including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour, and Factory-related compliances.
- Experience handling contract labour compliance and contractor management.
- Experience in handling labour inspections, audits, notices, and statutory authorities.
- Strong MS Excel and HRMS skills, must have worked in platforms like Keka, Spine, GreytHR etc.
- Good communication, employee relations, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage HR Operations and compliance with minimal supervision.
