Roles and Responsibilities

1. Distributor & Customer Issue Resolution

- Resolve distributor-level logistics issues of Damage, Excess, Pilferage, Shortage, Investigate, close & prepare live MIS for all reported DEPS cases.
- Track and monitor issues on a case-by-case basis to ensure timely closure. Good stakeholder management with Sales, Distributor, Transporter for timely issue resolution.
- Identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions to reduce TAT exceptions and operational escalations.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure effective and timely resolution of logistics-related concerns.

1. Order Fulfilment & Logistics Operations

- Drive zonal order fulfilment and ensure 100% order fulfilment.
- Coordinate with warehouses, Sales, Planning, Transporters, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
- Monitor order fulfilment exceptions and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure smooth execution of logistics operations while maintaining agreed service levels.

1. Market Visits & Market Intelligence

- Conduct at least 1 state distributor market visits per month.
- Regular Market visit to understand pressing issue & take feedback of Logistics & stock health situation.
- Document visit findings and share structured reports with relevant stakeholders.
- Gather insights on distributor operations, packaging, competition, last-mile delivery, unloading practices, floor delivery, operating hours, and other market-related factors.




- Convert market observations into actionable recommendations for improving logistics operations and distributor experience.

1. Last-Mile Logistics & Distributor Information

- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of last-mile logistics information for all distributors.
- Capture key parameters such as operating hours, unloading charges, floor delivery requirements, and other distributor-specific logistics requirements.
- Ensure coverage of assigned states/regions, with an objective of closing one state every month within the assigned span.
- Continuously update the database as current distributors and partners are onboarded.

1. Transporter Management

- Identify and onboard regional transporters based on business and operational requirements aligned with market feedback.

1. Stakeholder Management

- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders including Sales, SCM, Warehousing, Planning, Customer Experience, and Finance, as well as external stakeholders such as distributors and transporters.
- Align stakeholders on operational priorities, timelines, and service-level expectations.
- Proactively communicate risks, exceptions, and dependencies.
- Drive cross-functional action closure to ensure smooth logistics operations

2-10 years of experience in logistics or a related field (FMCG / Electical / Courier / Logisticindustry preferred).
- Strong understanding of SAP systems for managing inventory, dispatch planning, and transportation operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with excellent escalation skills when necessary.
