Job Summary The Art & Craft Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging, and age-appropriate art and craft activities for students. The teacher should encourage creativity, imagination, self-expression, and practical skills while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging art and craft classes according to the school curriculum and students' age groups.
- Teach drawing, sketching, painting, colouring, paper craft, clay modelling, origami, creative craft, and other art forms.
- Introduce students to different artistic techniques, materials, and styles.
- Encourage creativity, imagination, originality, and individual expression.
- Prepare lesson plans, activity materials, worksheets, and demonstrations.
- Organize art and craft activities for school events, exhibitions, competitions, celebrations, and special occasions.
- Guide students in preparing artwork for displays, notice boards, exhibitions, and school functions.
- Identify students with special artistic abilities and provide additional encouragement and guidance.
- Maintain proper classroom discipline and ensure protected handling of art materials and equipment.
- Maintain records of students' participation and performance.




- Assess students' creative work and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with class teachers and coordinators for interdisciplinary and theme-based activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the art room and materials.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, training programmes, school events, and other institutional activities.
- Perform any other academic or co-curricular responsibilities assigned by the Principal/Management.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (BFA) / Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Visual Arts, or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant certification in Art & Craft will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school or educational institution preferred.
- Freshers with strong artistic skills and good communication abilities may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
