Vitrolife is looking for an Area Sales and Marketing Manager responsible for Greater India

Vitrolife Group is a growing company in a changing environment where you as an individual can make a difference. We are looking to hire an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop and grow the business within the assisted reproduction market in Greater India.

The Area Manager shall be responsible to promote and sell all the products/services of Vitrolife Group including Medical Devices and Genetic services to the In Vitro Fertilization Clinics and other decision makers such us IVF Laboratory directors, Medical Directors, Obstetricians, Gynaecologists, and Embryologists.

You will be part of the APAC team, and as an Area Manager, you will be entitled to coordinate and lead a local sale team covering Greater India and will report directly to the Vice President, APAC, Vitrolife Group.

To be successful as Area Sales Manager, you should be committed to actively identifying growth opportunities and have the skill set to work with a sales team in a multicultural environment. Ultimately, an outstanding area sales manager should consistently demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

- Gather informative data about customer trends, as well as information about the competition in each market in which the business is involved.
- Be responsible for establishing the business model accordingly to each country and each market, drawing up joint business plans with partners and ensuring that the plans are implemented.
- Be responsible for the achievement of the revenue targets in the area, monitoring the outcome of the business activity in the area and see how actual sales meet or contradict established business models and forecasts.
- Lead the sales team in reaching a sales target, developing new business, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain, identify new accounts,



and increase existing customer base.
- The Area Manager will jointly travel the sales team in Greater India and visit potential and existing customers within the area to develop and sustain long-term relationships with partners and customers.
- Reporting established Key Performance Indicators to the Sales and Marketing Director every month.
- Participate in internal and external conferences, local and international congresses.
- The role requires occasional international travel. Close proximity to the Vitrolife offices in Recent Delhi is crucial.

Desired experience and skills:

- Knowledge of genetics.
- International expertise in MedTech or Life Science Industry
- Deep knowledge the In Vitro Fertilization segment and more than 4 years experience approaching IVF clinics, IVF Laboratory directors, Medical Directors, Obstetricians, Gynaecologists, and Embryologists.
- Proven sales experience: sector-specific sales experience is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in both small and large companies.
- Experience working with distributors would be an advantage

Education Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent number of years’ experience, seven years of experience in management of business development.

General business development experience and specific in-country business development experience.

High level of English language (C2) and high level of the official language of destination country.

Experience

Related experience in country management of 3 years or in business development role of 7 years.

General business development experience and specific in Greater India.
