Real estate architect JD

We are looking for a qualified architect, preferably with 2-5 years of work experience at a real estate construction, architectural designing company.

DUTIES

1. Project Planning & Design Development:

- Conduct feasibility studies and site evaluations to assess project viability and possible challenges.

- Develop detailed architectural designs and plans, drawings, blueprints and 3D models using architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) for various real estate projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

- Ensure designs comply with local zoning regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements.

- Coordinate and or collaborate with third party architects, engineers, interior designers, contractors, and subcontractors to refine project requirements and ensure design feaibilty.

- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

1. Project Management:

- Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.

- Address design modifications or issues that arise during construction.

- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction progress and resolve any discrepancies.

1. Budget and Cost Control:

- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for architectural elements of project.





- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

- Identify cost saving opportunities and efficiencies without compromising on project quality or timelines.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, and correspondence.

- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing project status, milestones, and performance metrics.

- REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is mandatory

- Licensed or pursuing licensure as an architect

- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.

- Robust understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- WORKING CONDITIONS:

- The role is primarily based on-site, requiring frequent visits to construction sites and occasional travel.
