The AR Caller is responsible for making calls to insurance companies, healthcare providers, and other relevant entities to secure authorizations and ensure timely resolution of claims in the healthcare revenue cycle process. This role involves obtaining, verifying, and following up on insurance authorizations to ensure that medical services are covered by insurance and claims are processed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Authorization Verification: Contact insurance companies, medical providers, and other relevant entities to obtain necessary pre-authorization for medical procedures and treatments.
- Follow-up Calls: Make follow-up calls to insurance companies to ensure authorization is granted, and to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Documentation: Record all interactions and updates related to authorizations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation in the system.
- Claim Resolution: Ensure all claims are processed with the necessary authorization codes to avoid delays in reimbursement.
- Issue Identification: Identify any issues or denials related to authorization and work with insurance companies or healthcare providers to resolve them.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the billing team and medical staff to ensure the required authorizations are obtained before medical procedures are scheduled.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes are compliant with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and insurance policies.




- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, patients, and insurance representatives to provide updates and gather necessary information.
- System Management: Use electronic health record (EHR) systems and other tools to track authorizations and maintain records of all communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in an accounts receivable role, healthcare billing, or authorization calling within the healthcare industry is preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and pre-authorization procedures.
- Communication Skills: Solid verbal and written communication skills for interacting with insurance representatives and healthcare providers.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, resolve discrepancies, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in documentation and understanding of authorization processes.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using healthcare management software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
