Role: Airbnb Property Caretaker

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, trustworthy, and guest-friendly Airbnb Caretaker to manage the day-to-day operations of our property in Mumbai. The caretaker will be the primary on-ground point of contact for guests and will ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, property maintenance, and guest assistance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and assist guests during check-in and check-out.
- Verify and maintain proper guest ID/KYC records as required.
- Coordinate with guests before and during their stay.
- Respond to guest queries and assist with basic requirements.
- Ensure the property is clean, well-maintained, and ready before every check-in.
- Coordinate cleaning, housekeeping, repairs, and maintenance whenever required.
- Conduct basic inspection of the property after guest check-out.
- Report any damages, missing items, or maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain records of property-related expenses, including cleaning, repairs, supplies, and other purchases.
- Keep receipts/bills for all expenses and submit regular expense reports.
- Monitor essential supplies such as toiletries, cleaning materials, drinking water, etc.
- Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, technicians, housekeeping staff, and other service providers when required.
- Maintain proper records of keys/access cards and ensure they are securely handled.




- Handle guest complaints professionally and try to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure the property follows Airbnb rules, building/society regulations, and applicable local requirements.
- Provide regular updates to the property owner/management regarding bookings, guests, expenses, maintenance, and other issues.

Requirements
- Previous experience in Airbnb, hotel, property management, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be trustworthy, responsible, and punctual.
- Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, Google Sheets/Excel, and smartphone applications.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of IDs, expenses, and property-related activities.
- Ability to handle guests professionally and politely.
- Must be available to attend to urgent guest/property-related requirements when necessary.
- Knowledge of the local Mumbai area is an advantage.
