We are building an AI-powered tax automation platform and are looking for tech-agnostic generalists who can move rapid and drive innovation across document extraction, automated tax preparation workflows, and integrations with leading tax software.

What We’re Building:
AI-based document extraction (W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, receipts, brokerage statements)
Automated tax preparation workflows with human review
Integration with tax software (Drake, UltraTax, ProConnect, Lacerte, CCH)
Advisory tools for tax planning

AI / LLM (Production Experience Required)
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini)
RAG pipelines: vector databases, chunking, retrieval
Agent-based systems: tool calling, multi-step orchestration
Document parsing: PDFs, images, OCR




Prompt engineering in production settings

Full-Stack Development:
Backend experience with Java/Spring Boot, Python (FastAPI), or Node.js/TypeScript
Frontend experience with React or similar frameworks
Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS / GCP)
Ability to build and deploy end-to-end solutions independently Work Style
Experience taking a project from zero to production (personal, freelance, or skilled)
Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information
Focused on delivering working software over perfect architecture
