About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, handle documentation, and support statutory compliance and reporting for our textile manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense, receipt and payment entries.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, debit notes and credit notes.
- Perform bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation and party account reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records of cash and bank transactions.
- Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
- Prepare GST-related data and coordinate with consultants for timely filing.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
- Prepare regular MIS and financial reports for management.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up with concerned parties.
- Coordinate with purchase, sales, production and other departments for accounting-related requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Assist in internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all accounting transactions.




- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Candidates with experience in the textile manufacturing industry will be given preference.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Tally/ERP and basic accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation and finalization support.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Local candidates from Surat will be preferred.
