We are seeking a dedicated and organized Carrying & Forwarding Assistant to join our team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for managing logistics and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods to ensure stock levels are monitored and up-to-date.
Documentation Handling: Prepare and verify shipping documents to facilitate the transportation of products and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordination with Transporters: Liaise with transport companies to arrange timely pick-up and delivery of goods, ensuring all logistics are efficiently handled.
Quality Checks: Conduct quality inspections of products upon receipt and before dispatch, ensuring that only quality goods are distributed.
Communication with Stakeholders: Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams to address issues related to inventory and share relevant updates.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
