We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen staff in preparing and serving food. This job is suitable for individuals with little to no experience and a passion for food.
Key responsibilities include:
Food Preparation: Assist in cutting, chopping, and prepping ingredients under the supervision of chefs. This includes washing vegetables, measuring ingredients, and preparing straightforward dishes.
Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning kitchen equipment. Keeping the kitchen tidy is essential for a secure and healthy work setting.
Stocking Supplies: Help in organizing and storing food supplies and ingredients in their proper places. This ensures that everything needed for cooking is readily available.
Assisting Chefs: Work alongside chefs during busy times to expedite the cooking process. Responsibilities may include preparing sauces or garnishing plates.
To be successful as a Kitchen Helper, you should have basic cooking skills and a willingness to learn. Good hygiene practices are crucial, as well as the ability to work well in a team.
