Job Responsibilities
Good exposure in manufacturing technologies like Plastics, Sheet metal, Casting, Injection molding, forging and fabrication
Knowledge of Mirror/ Optics design & costing
Knowledge/ relevant work experience in PCB / PCBA / Harness / Sensors Costing
Knowledge of Heat & Surface Treatments process/ costing
Should able to identify alternate manufacturing technologies and alternate materials.
Should be positive at Optimizing the best manufacturing process techniques.
-Solid background in VAVE & bench marking.
Knowledge on conventional and CNC machines, manufacturing processes & time calculations.
Experience in product estimation and costing tools like DFMA, Costimator, SEER Galorath & aPriori will be added advantage.
Carryout should costing and Design to Cost analysis for Current Product Introduction (NPI)



and Legacy
Recommend improvements to cost competitiveness.

Requirements
Bachelors in mechanical/ Electro Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5-8yrs in shop floor experience on process and working as should costing engineers is mandatory No direct should costing engineers are encouraged for this role.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Valuable communication skills, both written and verbal.
