Job Summary:
The Front Office Executive is the first point of contact for guests at Hotel The Magnus, responsible for delivering a warm welcome, productive check-in/check-out, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. This role requires excellent communication, coordination, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:Guest Handling & Service:
Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
Address guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly.
Front Desk Operations:
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Maintain accurate guest records and documentation.
Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness.
Communication & Coordination:
Liaise with different departments (Housekeeping, F&B;, Maintenance) for guest requirements.
Handle phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
Cash Handling & Billing:
Process payments, billing, and invoicing accurately.
Maintain daily cash reports and shift closures.
Upselling & Revenue Support:
Promote room upgrades and hotel services.
Support revenue generation through effective guest interaction.
Compliance & Grooming:
Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service orientation
Basic computer knowledge (PMS systems preferred)
Problem-solving ability
Multitasking and time management skills
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality preferred
1–3 years of experience in front office or customer service role
Freshers with positive communication skills can also apply
Working Conditions:
Rotational shifts including night shifts
Weekends and holidays working required
