Job description

Key Responsibilities

- Planning, designing, debugging, and coding software solutions for Java application development, developing Java-based applications, writing and implementing effective code, testing software, providing technical support, collaborating with other software engineers, working with product managers and designers, identifying opportunities for code improvement.

Skills Required:

- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Struts, RestAPI, microservices, GitHub, Jenkins, uBuild, DevOps tools (OpenShift/Kubernetes), relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, DB2), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Agile tools like Rally.

Skills Preferred:

- Knowledge of Angular JS, React, exposure to cloud platforms, particularly GCP.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development with Spring and Spring Boot,



website design and programming, proficiency in Java and Java EE, strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, familiarity with Unix-based systems and hardware, experience with relational databases such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Agile development experience.

Experience Preferred:

- Experience with Java Struts, GCP, and Angular.
- Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
- Education Preferred: Additional safety training, licensing, or personal protection certifications (if applicable).
