Role & responsibilities

We're looking for a Senior HR Manager to lead the entire HR function at our Mohali office, supported by a team of 2 to 3 HR executives. This is a player-coach role. You'll set the HR agenda across three pillars HR Generalist, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition and build your team's capability to execute it, while staying close enough to the work to step in on the calls that matter: a critical closure, a sensitive employee conversation, a compliance escalation.

You will be the single point of accountability to leadership for how we hire, onboard, engage, and retain consultants.

What You'll Own

Talent Acquisition

- Lead end-to-end hiring for Oracle and Workday consulting roles permanent, contract, and client-billable positions
- Build and manage a bench-ready pipeline, working closely with practice and delivery leads on demand forecasting
- Own vendor and portal relationships, referral programmes, and campus/lateral hiring drives
- Drive offer negotiation, closure rates, and joining ratios

HR Generalist

- Serve as the trusted advisor to consultants and practice leadership on performance, career progression, and employee relations
- Run the performance management cycle, goal-setting, and appraisal process
- Design and drive engagement, retention, and internal mobility initiatives for a distributed consulting workforce
- Handle grievance redressal, disciplinary matters, and exit management with fairness and discretion

HR Operations & Compliance





- Own onboarding, documentation, payroll inputs, attendance, and leave administration
- Ensure statutory compliance PF, ESI, gratuity, Punjab Shops & Establishments Act, POSH, and applicable labour regulations
- Maintain HRMS data integrity and generate MIS/dashboards for leadership
- Draft and maintain HR policies, employment contracts, and the employee handbook

What You'll Bring

- 8 to 12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years leading an HR function or a substantial HR team
- Prior experience in IT consulting, staffing, or professional services — familiarity with bench management, billable resourcing, and client-site deployment is a robust advantage
- Demonstrated depth across all three pillars; we need a generalist who can recruit, not a specialist in one lane
- Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance
- Comfort with HRMS platforms; exposure to Workday HCM or Oracle HCM Cloud is a plus
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent
- Excellent written and spoken English, and the maturity to hold conversations with senior leadership and junior consultants with equal ease
