Become a MITR Trainer Shape the Leaders of Tomorrow!

Do you believe in building a gender-equal world? Are you passionate about guiding young boys into becoming empathetic and responsible individuals?

Project MITR, an initiative by Avtar Human Capital Trust, is looking for dynamic Trainers to lead sessions for adolescent boys and help them grow into confident, compassionate Gender Champions.

Role: MITR Trainer (Freelance/Part-time)

Location: Chennai | Trichy | Pondicherry | Bangalore
Type: Volunteer / Paid engagement (based on experience & availability)
Duration: Minimum commitment of 3 months

What Youll Do:

- Facilitate structured, interactive sessions for adolescent boys (Grade 9 to 12)

- Deliver gender-sensitization, life skills, and leadership content

- Be a mentor and positive role model for the youth

- Participate in Train-the-Trainer (TTT) workshops before deployment

Who Can Apply:

- Graduate/Postgraduate with good communication skills (English & tamil/Kannada)

- Prior experience in training, facilitation, or teaching is a plus

- Passionate about youth empowerment and gender equality

- Professionals, freelancers, or retired individuals looking to give back

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for individuals who are:

- Graduates/Postgraduates in any discipline

- Fluent communicators in English and local language (Tamil/Kannada preferred based on location)

- Experienced facilitators, teachers, or trainers (prior training/teaching background is an advantage)

- Passionate about youth development and gender equality

- Empathetic, confident, and approachable personalities who can engage with adolescent boys

- Versatile and committed, with the ability to travel to schools/colleges when needed

- Open to learning and willing to attend our mandatory Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions

Bonus: Freelancers, retired professionals, and those with experience in social development, counselling, or psychology are highly encouraged to apply.
