Network Automation Engineer- Remote based in India

Job Description:

- Network Automation Consultant
- Candidate will be working collaboratively as part of team that is performing activities with focus on Network Automation.
- A successful candidate would have 15 plus years of enterprise networking experience, strong customer-facing consulting skills, and proven experience delivering complex regional or global infrastructure projects.
- The candidate must be hands-on and bring an automation-first approach to network design, deployment, and operations, with strong software development and API integration capabilities.

Responsibilities:

- Hands-on developer who can combine enterprise networking expertise with software development, APIs, DevOps and front-end skills
- Senior level Python skills with experience in multiple Frameworks.
- Experience writing modular code and custom Python libraries.
- Expertise with communications using and developing REST APIs.
- Able to utilize Git/GitHub and Docker platforms
- Able to work with backend systems such as SQL Databases and integrate to other common platforms using standard protocols.
- Able to build scalable, API-driven network automation and self-service solutions.
- Experience with automating network technologies such as route/switch, firewalls, load-balancers, and DNS.

Experience and Attributes

- Experience developing/integrating self-service automation portals and dashboards using JavaScript/CSS, React or equivalent front-end technologies.
- Experience across requirements gathering, HLD/LLD, automation architecture, migration planning, deployment and post-sales support.
- Robust customer-facing and presales skills, including proposals, estimates, BOMs and solution presentations.
- Ability to work with other business units and application teams and drive application owners to success.
- Strong sense of understanding the big picture” and how everything comes together
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize activities and work within deadlines.
- Able to provide technical leadership to less experienced personnel either individually or as part of a team.
- Possess excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

- Based in LATAM (Mexico, Costa Rica or Brazil) or APAC (Pune, Hyderabad or Bangalore)
- Able to pass background check(s).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Total of 15 plus years' experience in the Information Technology industry, with a minimum of 7 years directly working as an Automation Developer.
