Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) Consultant with 4+ years of experience in Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) engagements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement services for SAP BPC applications while ensuring seamless financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes.The candidate should have strong functional and technical expertise in SAP BPC, experience working in global support environments, and the ability to collaborate with business users, finance teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality support services.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP BPC applications and related financial planning and consolidation processes.
- Manage incidents, service requests, defects, and enhancement requests within agreed SLAs.
- Support SAP BPC functionalities including:
- Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Financial Consolidation
- Management Reporting
- Profitability Analysis
- Data Validation and Reconciliation

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Monitor data loads, process chains, batch jobs, and interfaces to ensure successful execution.




- Collaborate with Finance and Business stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial planning and consolidation support activities.
- Analyze and troubleshoot reporting, data integrity, and performance-related issues.
- Coordinate with SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and technical teams for issue resolution.
- Support testing activities for fixes, enhancements, and system upgrades.
- Document business processes, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Participate in release management, transport migrations, and deployment activities.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6-8 years of SAP experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on SAP BPC support and maintenance experience.
- Solid expertise in:
- SAP BPC (Embedded and/or Standard)
- Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Financial Consolidation
- Financial Reporting
- Business Rules and Data Validation
- Process Chains and Data Loads

- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Experience in AMS/Production Support environments.
- Hands-on experience with:

- SAP BW/BW4HANA
- SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA
- BEx Queries and Reporting

- Experience in troubleshooting data reconciliation and consolidation issues.
- Understanding of SAP transport management and release processes.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- SAP BPC Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
- Exposure to SAP Group Reporting.
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA migration projects.
- Familiarity with financial close and consolidation processes.
