Asset Management Product Owner

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Product / Product Management professional with strong Asset Management / Investment Management domain expertise to join the data and analytics team of a leading global analytics and digital transformation organization.

The role will involve leading enterprise Core Data product initiatives supporting Asset Management and Investment Management businesses. The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of investment data, portfolio data, market/reference data and data management, along with experience in Product Management, Data Product Management, Data Strategy or Program Management.

Strong Asset Management / Investment Management domain experience is mandatory for this role. Candidates with generic Data Product / Product Management experience without meaningful exposure to Asset Management or Investment Management may not be suitable.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners / Associate Product Owners and Data professionals, ensuring successful delivery of multiple enterprise data product initiatives.

2. Define and manage the roadmap, priorities and execution of Core Data products supporting Asset Management / Investment Management businesses.

3. Work closely with Investment Management, Portfolio Management, Data Engineering, Architecture,



Data Governance and Business teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

4. Drive end-to-end product delivery including requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, user stories, UAT, release planning, documentation and stakeholder management.

5. Work with investment and enterprise data including portfolio data, security data, market data, reference data and other investment-related datasets.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Data Product Management, Program Management, Data Strategy or a related function.

2. Strong Asset Management / Investment Management experience is mandatory.

3. Strong understanding of Asset Management business processes and investment data.

4. Hands-on experience working with investment data, portfolio data, market data, reference data, security data, fund data or enterprise data products.

5. Proven experience managing or delivering enterprise data products within an Asset Management / Investment Management environment.
