About the role

The Team Lead Information Security (Security Automation) will be responsible for identifying, designing, implementing and operationalizing automation use cases across Aditya Birla Capital’s Information Security workplace. The role will work closely with the SOC, Cyber Fusion Center, Information Security, IT, Cloud, Infrastructure, Application, GRC and business teams to improve efficiency, consistency, detection, response, reporting and control effectiveness through automation.

The jobholder will support the SOC and broader Information Security function by identifying areas where manual, repetitive, high-volume or time-sensitive security activities can be automated using SOAR, SIEM, scripting, APIs, workflow tools, case management platforms and integrations across security technologies. The role will help improve incident response speed, reduce analyst fatigue, strengthen alert triage, standardize response actions and enhance security operations maturity.

The role will also evaluate automation opportunities across core Information Security processes, including alert enrichment, incident response, vulnerability management, compliance reporting, threat intelligence,



phishing response, user access reviews, exception tracking, evidence collection and security metrics. The jobholder will be expected to ensure that automation is implemented in a controlled, measurable and secure manner, with appropriate documentation, testing, approvals and governance.

Role & responsibilities

1. Security Automation Strategy & Use Case Identification: Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across Information Security and SOC processes.
2. SOC Automation & SOAR Playbook Development: Improve SOC efficiency and response consistency through automation-led workflows.
3. Security Tool Integration & Workflow Automation: Enable integration between security tools and enterprise platforms.
4. Vulnerability & Exposure Management Automation: Automate vulnerability tracking, prioritization and remediation governance.
5. Security Metrics, Dashboards & Reporting Automation: Improve accuracy and timeliness of security reporting.
6. Stakeholder Management, Adoption & Continuous Improvement: Drive adoption and continuous improvement of automation across security teams.
