We are looking for a Solution Manager Acquiring with strong experience in the Payment Card Industry (PCI) and preferably Merchant Acquiring. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer and business requirements, translating them into product/solution specifications, managing product enhancements, and working closely with customers, pre-sales, product, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate should have approximately 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Requirement Management, preferably within the payments domain, with hands-on exposure to POS, IPG, BQR/UPI payment methods and a good understanding of payment industry compliance and regulatory practices.

Role & responsibilities

- Responsible for merchant acquiring solutions and products.
- Understand business requirements from customers and translate them into functional/product solution documentation.
- Lead the complete requirement elicitation and requirement management process, including:
- Understand implicit and explicit business requirements.
- Define and plan the scope.
- Prepare detailed scope, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints.
- Identify and document out-of-scope requirements.
- Prepare and release scope documents to relevant stakeholders.
- Drive stakeholder review and obtain formal sign-off.

- Identify opportunities for product enhancements based on customer requirements, market trends, and business needs.
- Drive the complete product enhancement lifecycle in alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct product demonstrations, solution presentations, and customer discussions.
- Provide solution and product inputs to the Pre-Sales team for proposals, RFPs, and customer responses.
- Develop and enhance standard product/solution offerings, keeping long-term business objectives and competitive positioning in mind.




- Assess product feature gaps against competitive offerings, market requirements, and client expectations.
- Work closely with the Engineering/Technology teams to provide inputs on proposed solutions, technical feasibility, effort estimation, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of requirements and solutions.
- Act as a bridge between customers, business teams, product teams, pre-sales, and engineering teams.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with applicable payment industry regulations, compliance requirements, and scheme mandates.

Essential Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Requirement Management.
- Mandatory experience in the Payment Card Industry / Payments domain.
- Merchant Acquiring domain experience is preferred.
- Hands-on/working knowledge of POS, IPG (Internet Payment Gateway), BQR and UPI payment methods.
- Good understanding of payment industry compliance and regulatory practices.
- Knowledge of card scheme mandates will be an added advantage.
- Strong ability to understand both implicit and explicit business requirements.
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and convert requirements into effective product/solution offerings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
