Job Title: Senior SCADA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and forwardthinking SCADA/Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of SCADA and PLC systems in a modern battery manufacturing facility, including Building Management System (BMS) integration.

This role will be responsible for designing robust control architectures, ensuring secure data connectivity, and supporting smart factory initiatives through scalable and resilient automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the full lifecycle of SCADA and automation systems from concept, budgeting, and design through FAT, SAT, commissioning, and handover.
- Define technical scopes of work for automation and SCADA vendors, ensuring alignment with internal standards and functional requirements.
- Coordinate with process, facilities, EHS, and quality teams to align automation with operational goals.
- Design and implement robust SCADA system architecture for real-time control, data acquisition, diagnostics, and alarm handling across the plant.





Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering.
- Good experience in SCADA and PLC system development.
- Hands-on experience with multiple PLC platforms including Siemens (TIA Portal), Rockwell Automation, Beckhoff TwinCAT, and Omron Sysmac.
- Strong background in SCADA development using platforms such as Ignition, WinCC, AVEVA, or FactoryTalk.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and smart utility systems.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, Ethernet, and Profinet
- Solid understanding of industrial cybersecurity, change management, and validation compliance.
