Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer/Sr. Design Engineer for Control Panel / Controls

Experience: 04 - 10 years

Job Location: Bavdhan, Pune

Must to have skills: Electrical Panel Design using E-Plan / AutoCAD Electrical/ Solidworks Electrical/Zuken E3; Single Line Diagram

General Responsibilities:

- Understand Project Input and Project Scope.
- Generate electrical control panel drawings.
- Detail enclosures for installation of equipment such as Contactors, relays, power supplies, PLCs, etc.
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and provide physical layout drawings.
- PLC and HMI selection and Interface
- Analyze equipment specification and performance requirements and establish design specifications to meet functional requirements.
- Modify electrical schematics based upon engineering and customer requirements.
- Responsible for electrical component selection and finalize bill of materials.
- Good knowledge and understanding of National Electrical Standards
- Design and draft electrical control panel / Wire Harness drawings.
- Estimation of electrical control panel and harness designing.
- Handle complete responsibility for project delivery from inputs to deliverable.
- Deliver the assigned projects on estimated time with positive quality /cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Prioritize the workload as per the job requirements.

Technical Responsibilities:

- Electrical Design / Drafting: Following skills/experience is necessary.




- Preparation of electrical drawings for electrical control systems / switchgear using electrical software.
- Generating and updating the preliminary issue to as built electrical drawing like control and power supply distribution, Internal/External layout, I/O drawings, Network architecture, Cable termination, Bill of material and other required reports.
- Design and selection of electrical control panel, Drive, PLC and Switchgear.
- Quality check of drawings-Technically and aesthetically.
- Complete project within budget and given timeframes.
- Ensure project task completed within relevant and required standards.
- Co-Ordinate with mechanical design team members which are directly involved on project to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and customer requirements.

Required Skills:

- BE/B.TECH In Electrical / Instrumentation / E&TC.;
- Generate electrical control panel drawings and should have good knowledge of automation and controls.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of National Electrical Standards CE, IEC, NFPA 79 and UL508A
- Should have a knowledge of PLC Programming of Siemens, Rockwell and HMI.
- Should have a knowledge of field bus communication technologies like Ethernet,RS-485, RS 232, Modbus, PROFIBUS etc.
- Should be able to read & understand machine layout, electrical, pneumatic diagrams.
- Experience in using E-Plan / AutoCAD Electrical/ Solidworks Electrical/Zuken E3 design software is necessary.
- Experience in creating Symbol, component, model and Wire Harness is necessary.
- Technical Knowledge: Electric control panel design, PLC / MCC Panels.
- Excellent English Communication and Technical English.(Written and Oral).
- Excellent in Organization, prioritization and time management skills.
