As a key member of the Bank Account Management (BAM) team, you will act as a strategic liaison between internal stakeholders and global financial institutions. We are responsible for managing strategic relationships with a vast network of agent banks and vendors to ensure seamless global connectivity. Key Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic management of external agent bank relationships to achieve the firm s commercial and long-term strategic goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle (opening, maintenance, and closure) of the firm s cash and securities bank accounts, with a focus on navigating complex requirements in emerging and client-specific markets.
- Orchestrate onboarding and periodic Know Your Customer (KYC) Due Diligence processes, serving as a subject matter expert for both agent banks and internal legal/compliance teams.
- Execute bank account dormancy reviews and proactively identify opportunities for account rationalization to reduce operational risk and cost.
- Collaborate with internal divisions to lead and progress industry and regulatory initiatives (e.g., T+1 settlement shifts, ISO 20022 adoption).
- Evaluate new business proposals to assess and mitigate impact on account management requirements within the agent bank network.
- Identify process inefficiencies and champion automation or workflow enhancements to increase the team s scalability.
- Escalate issues and challenges in the process and suggest procedural updates that can enhance processes / workflow
Skills & Experience We Re Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of professional experience in financial services, treasury, or relationship management.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in a high-stakes environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
- Foundational knowledge of the securities industry and trade life cycles.
Preferred Qualifications:
