We are looking for an experienced and proactive Fraud Control Manager to strengthen our Fraud Control Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in fraud detection, investigation, and prevention across lending products, with hands-on experience in both pre-disbursement and post-disbursement fraud control activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-disbursement and post-disbursement verifications to identify potential fraud risks.
- Investigate fraud incidents across secured and unsecured loan portfolios.
- Lead fraud detection and prevention initiatives in mortgage and other retail lending products.
- Analyze fraud trends, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports and present findings to management.
- Coordinate with business teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective fraud risk mitigation.
- Monitor and strengthen fraud control processes and policies across branch operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Fraud Control, Risk Investigation,
or Fraud Prevention within Banking/NBFC sectors.
- Strong understanding of fraud typologies across lending products.
- Experience in handling Fraud Control Unit (FCU) operations.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report preparation.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and drive fraud risk mitigation initiatives.
- Willingness to travel extensively across branch locations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in Mortgage Loans, LAP, Housing Finance, or Retail Lending.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to fraud detection and prevention.
