Deputy General Manager Mining & Business Development

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mining Engineer with 15+ years of experience in quarry/land acquisition for the construction or cement industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring quarry reserves, liaising with government authorities, ensuring statutory compliance, negotiating with landowners, and supporting business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and acquire land/quarries for stone aggregate mining.

2. Conduct quarry due diligence and reserve evaluation.

3. Liaise with DGMS, Mining & Geology, Pollution Control Board, and other government authorities.

4. Negotiate with landowners and intermediaries.

5. Obtain statutory approvals, permits, and licenses.

6.



Prepare acquisition plans, budgets, and periodic progress reports.

7. Support mine planning, reserve estimation, and business development activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. B.Tech/Diploma in Mining Engineering (Mandatory)

2. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in quarry/land acquisition.

3. Experience in the construction, mining, or cement industry.

4. Solid knowledge of mining regulations, statutory compliance, and government liaison.

5. Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to travel.

6. 1st or 2nd Class Mine Manager Certificate will be an added advantage.
