You will be the engine of category execution the bridge between category strategy and on-the-ground buying. You will run tender cycles, evaluate bids, prepare recommendations and manage vendor delivery, while building the judgement to take on a category of your own.
What youll own
- Tender execution — prepare and issue RFQs, run comparative evaluations and draft procurement recommendations for approval.
- Commercial analysis — build rate comparisons and TCO analyses; support negotiation with structured commercial inputs.
- Vendor coordination — manage pre-qualification, follow up on commitments, and resolve delivery and quality issues with the site team.
- Compliance — ensure purchases follow the approval matrix and specifications; keep documentation audit-ready.
- Reporting — track POs, deliveries and savings; flag risks early to the Senior Manager.
What you’ll bring
- 5–9 years in procurement — construction, MEP, equipment or services category experience preferred.
- Comfortable with tendering, bid tabulation and recommendation notes.
- Able to read specifications / BoQs and challenge them intelligently.
- Robust Excel and ERP / e-procurement skills; meticulous documentation.
- Drive, follow-through and the appetite to grow into category ownership.
