- Plan and conduct engaging dance classes for students across different age groups.
- Teach appropriate dance techniques, movements, rhythm, coordination, and expressions.
- Train students for school events, annual day, competitions, celebrations, and cultural programmes.
- Choreograph performances according to themes, occasions, and students abilities.
- Encourage creativity, discipline, teamwork, and confidence among students.
- Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning workplace.
- Coordinate with teachers and school management for performances and events.
- Stay updated with new dance techniques and choreography trends.
Preferred candidate profile
- Degree/Diploma/Certification in Dance or a related field.
- Formal training in Classical, Western, Contemporary, Folk, or other recognized dance forms.
- Previous teaching or choreography experience preferred.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Strong creativity, energy, patience, and enthusiasm.
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents.
- Willingness to participate in school programmes and events.
