Role & responsibilities

- Review and abstraction of financial and legal documents and contracts pertaining to the services offered by Castler
- Contract Management, Contract Remediation, Contract review, Contract Analysis, Contract abstraction
- Drafting of Master Service agreement (MSA)
- Provide strategic legal and commercial advice to stakeholders and team members on payment laws, regulations, data protection, compliance and risks relating to our business
- Partner with sales, product, and compliance teams to resolve open contractual points
- Draft and negotiate Ad hoc agreements to support commercial activities
- Represent Castler on various fintech/payments-related topics before regulators, banking partners and other external audiences
- Exercise due diligence while reviewing and vetting commercial agreements and amendments, recommend any corrective actions or amendments wherever necessary
- Provide litigation support,



particularly in matters related to fintech, including dispute resolution and legal proceedings
- Assist in general legal, commercial, and regulatory compliance matters, audits/reporting and any other regulatory reporting and compliance matters
- Ensure legal risks are adequately managed

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualified lawyer with 2+ years of PQE, ideally from a Law Firm background
- Familiar with financial regulatory laws such as FBI, SEBI, NFBCs, data privacy, consumer protection etc
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal), with an ability to make complex regulatory concepts explicit to business teams, engineers, and regulators
- Location: South Delhi. This is a 100% WFO (Work from Office) role
