Interior Site Supervisor Hospital & Retail Interiors (PAN India)

Role Purpose: To supervise day-to-day interior execution at project sites, ensuring that work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

Site Execution

Supervise daily interior works including civil, partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, carpentry, furniture, glass, electrical and other finishing works

Drawing Coordination

Read and execute architectural/interior drawings; coordinate with designers, architects and consultants regarding site issues

Hospital Projects

Coordinate works around OT, procedure rooms, patient areas, laboratories, reception, consultation rooms, HVAC, medical-gas and other healthcare-specific services

Retail Projects

Supervise shopfronts, display units, counters, signage, lighting, flooring, ceiling and merchandising fixtures

Contractor Management

Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors; monitor manpower, productivity and workmanship

Material Management

Check material deliveries against approved specifications; prevent wastage and maintain proper site storage

Quality Control

Inspect workmanship and ensure execution matches approved drawings, BOQ, specifications and finish standards

MEP Coordination

Coordinate civil/interior activities with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, networking and other MEP services

Progress Monitoring





Track daily progress against the project schedule and report delays or site constraints

Measurement

Verify quantities executed by contractors and assist in preparing measurement sheets/bills

Site Reporting

Maintain daily progress reports, manpower reports, material records, snag lists and site photographs

Coordination

Coordinate with client representatives, architects, vendors, contractors and project managers

Snagging & Handover

Identify defects, coordinate rectification and ensure completion before handover

Cost Control

Monitor material wastage, rework and additional works; report variations before execution

Documentation

Maintain updated drawings, approvals, material samples, inspection records and handover documentation

- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field
- Typically 37 years of site-execution experience
- Strong knowledge of interior finishing works
- Ability to read architectural, interior and MEP drawings
- Experience managing contractors and site manpower
- Knowledge of measurements, BOQ and basic quantity estimation
- Positive understanding of construction materials and finishing systems
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple vendors/work activities simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable
- Experience with hospital/healthcare interiors is highly desirable
- Retail/commercial interior experience is an advantage
