ETL Developer SAP BODS & Oracle (EDW)

Location: Ambattur, Chennai
Experience: 8 TO 10 Years
Role: ETL Developer
Primary Skill: SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS)

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop ETL workflows and data pipelines using SAP BODS
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading into EDW
- Develop and optimize Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks
- Support job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Analyze requirements and perform source-to-target data mapping
- Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability
- Support production deployment and issue resolution

Required Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in SAP BODS
- Dataflows
- Workflows
- Transforms

- Hands-on experience with Redwood / Control-M job scheduler
- Strong Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
- Strong understanding of EDW concepts

- Star Schema
- Fact & Dimension Tables
- Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)

- Performance tuning and optimization
- Good understanding of production deployment processes
