Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, or a related field.
- Proven experience In API development using mirth framework.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle databases management system .
- In-depth understanding of healthcare standards and protocols, particularly HL7.
- Hands-on experience with Mirth integration middleware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex integration requirements and design scalable solutions.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality integration solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferable Certificates:

- Certified in relevant technologies such as Hl7 Certification.
- Experience working in a healthcare IT environment or related industry.
- Familiarity with other healthcare standards such as FHIR, DICOM, etc.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement robust APIs using Mirth framework to facilitate seamless data exchange between disparate healthcare systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system architects, and healthcare professionals to understand integration requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Utilize expertise in Oracle to design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions adhering to healthcare standards such as HL7 to ensure interoperability between healthcare applications and systems.
- Configure and customize Mirth integration middleware platform to orchestrate data exchange workflows and transform.
- Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting of integration solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity.




- Document integration processes, configurations, and workflows for reference and future maintenance.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in healthcare integration to continuously enhance integration capabilities and efficiency.

Job Purpose:

To design, implement, and support healthcare interoperability solutions using HL7 v2, HL7

FHIR standards and Mirth Connect. This role ensures seamless integration between HIS, LIS,

RIS, EMRs, and external systems, leveraging JavaScript and SQL for transformations and data

handling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain interfaces using Mirth Connect to support HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, and

other messaging standards

- Analyze integration requirements and create transformation logic using JavaScript and

SQL

- Collaborate with internal teams (Development, QA, DBA) and external vendors to ensure

data integrity and secure transmission

- Monitor, debug, and resolve issues in real-time using Mirth logs and channel dashboards
- Document integration flows, mappings, and configurations for future maintenance
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and testing cycles related to integration layers
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy laws and security standards (HIPAA,

local MOH regulations)

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Technical Skills:

- Strong experience with Mirth Connect (channel development, deployment)
- Solid understanding of HL7 v2.x and FHIR resources/profiles
- Proficiency in JavaScript (for message transformation)
- Good SQL skills (MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle)
- RESTful API integration experience
- Familiarity with JSON, XML parsing, and validation

Soft Skills:

- Analytical problem-solving
- Clear communication and documentation skills
- Team collaboration across technical and clinical team

Experience:

- Minimum 3 years in a similar role involving HL7/Mirth/FHIR integrations
