Key Responsibilities

SAP IAS Configuration

Configure SAP Identity Authentication Service IAS for secure authentication using SAML 20 OIDC and OAuth 20 protocols

Enable Single SignOn SSO across SAP and nonSAP applications

Design and enforce conditional authentication and access policies based on security and compliance requirements

SAP IPS Implementation

Configure and maintain SAP Identity Provisioning Service IPS for automated user lifecycle management including provisioning and deprovisioning

Implement endtoend identity synchronization across SAP and nonSAP systems

Design transformation and mapping rules to ensure accurate role group and attribute propagation

SAP BTP Security Management

Manage SAP BTP security artifacts including role collections roletogroup mapping and authorization concepts

Ensure consistent access governance aligned with enterprise security policies

Support secure onboarding of applications and services on SAP BTP

Integration Trust Setup

Establish and manage trust relationships between SAP IAS and corporate Identity Providers eg Microsoft Entra ID

Integrate IASIPS with SAP applications such as SAP SuccessFactors SAP Ariba SAP S4HANA Cloud and SAP BTP services

Support hybrid identity scenarios spanning cloud and enterprise systems





Troubleshooting Operations

Monitor IPS provisioning jobs and analyze identity synchronization logs

Troubleshoot authentication provisioning and integrationrelated issues

Provide operational stability maintenance and continuous improvement of the IAM landscape

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Strong handson knowledge of SAP IAS IPS architecture

Experience with SCIM SOAP and REST APIs and transformation rule configuration

Solid understanding of authentication authorization and identity federation concepts

Experience

1215 years of experience in SAP Identity and Access Management IAM

Handson experience specifically in SAP BTP Security

Proven experience integrating SAP IAM with enterprise identity platforms

Knowledge Base

Solid working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors SAP S4HANA Cloud and SAP cloudbased ecosystems

Understanding of cloud security and compliance standards relevant to enterprise environments

Certifications Preferred

SAP BTP Security Certification

SAP IAS IPS Certification
