Role & responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production and plant mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical breakdowns to minimize machine downtime.
- Carry out regular inspection, lubrication, servicing, alignment, and condition monitoring of machinery.
- Identify and rectify problems related to bearings, gears, shafts, couplings, chains, belts, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and lubrication systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in production equipment.
- Carry out machine alignment, leveling, mechanical adjustments, and equipment installation.
- Monitor machine condition and identify potential failures before breakdowns occur.
- Analyze repeated breakdowns and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Maintain and update Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, breakdown records, checklists, and maintenance reports.




- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Electrical, Tool Room, and Utility teams for effective maintenance activities.
- Support recent machine installation, commissioning, modification, and machine improvement activities.
- Support continuous improvement activities for improving machine availability, MTBF, MTTR, and OEE.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with experience in production machinery maintenance, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, machine alignment, breakdown maintenance, and preventive maintenance will be preferred
