Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle DBA / Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and production support. The candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle DBA activities, performance optimization, and Linux/Unix environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and administer Oracle databases in development, test, and production environments.
- Perform Oracle database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
- Monitor database health, availability, performance, and capacity.
- Perform SQL and database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing, execution plans, and database parameters.
- Troubleshoot database performance issues, locking, blocking, deadlocks, and connectivity issues.
- Handle RMAN backup and recovery and ensure database backup integrity.
- Work on database security, user management, roles, privileges, and access controls.
- Support database migrations, upgrades, and production deployments.




- Work closely with application and development teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.
- Write and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries and stored procedures where required.
- Perform database monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Automate routine DBA activities using scripting wherever possible.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience
- Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle Performance Tuning
- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL
- Strong experience in Linux/Unix environments this is highly preferred
- Experience with RMAN Backup & Recovery
- Good understanding of Oracle database architecture
- Experience in database troubleshooting and production support
- Knowledge of database monitoring and performance analysis
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
