Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, loading and dispatch. The role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring workplace safety and achieving daily productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Allocate work and monitor the performance of warehouse workers.
- Manage inward, unloading, checking and put-away of materials.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of materials.
- Monitor picking, packing, loading and dispatch activities.
- Verify quantity, condition and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Monitor stock discrepancies, damages, shortages and excesses.
- Ensure proper utilization of warehouse space and bin locations.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, customers and internal departments.
- Ensure timely dispatch and collection of delivery documents.
- Prepare daily/weekly warehouse reports and MIS.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, discipline and 5S standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Train new warehouse employees and guide the team on SOPs.
- Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Identify operational problems and take corrective action.
- Support periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
- Ensure company policies and warehouse procedures are followed.
