Job Description: NPD Executive / Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an NPD Executive to manage end-to-end New Product Development activities from feasibility to PPAP approval. The role involves close coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal teams for tooling, sampling, quotations, and documentation to ensure timely NPD launches.

Key Responsibilities

1. NPD Project Management

- Handle all NPD activities from RFQ to mass production

- Coordinate with customer and supplier for project timelines and deliverables

2. Supplier & Tooling Management

- Conduct Supplier Manufacturing Feasibility Review

- Prepare and monitor Tool Development Plan with customer & supplier

- Manage all Tool & Mould activities and Trial sample activities

3. Sampling & Documentation

- Develop and submit new samples to customer as per requirements

- Cross-check NPD sample documents: SIR & MTC





- Prepare and submit PPAP for NPD parts as well as regular parts

- Support Customer PPAP Audit and ensure NC closure

- Define and implement Packing Standards for NPD parts

4. Commercial & Procurement

- Prepare and share quotations for customers

- Raise and follow up PO for suppliers

5. Other

- Maintain NPD tracker and status reports

- Work with QA, Production, and Purchase for smooth NPD execution

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma / B.E. / http://B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field

- Experience: 7-10 years in NPD, Tooling, or Product Development in manufacturing

- Knowledge: PPAP, APQP, SIR, MTC, Tooling process, Sampling process

- Skills: Customer coordination, supplier development, problem solving, MS Office, reading technical drawings

- Positive communication skills in English and Hindi
