Key Responsibilities

- As part of the managed services organization, ensure that the customers infrastructure is up and running 24x7x365.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, resources, systems, and key processes.
- Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs.
- Repair and recover infrastructure from hardware or software failures and coordinate and communicate with impacted stakeholders.
- Perform preventative maintenance and upgrades, as required, on devices and related peripherals to meet IT specifications.
- Identify system performance issues and drive the development of tools to address them.
- Work as an Operations Lead and manage end-to-end service delivery/operations, including shift rostering and customer communication.
- Follow organizational policies and processes around 24x7 operations, including rotational shifts, work from office, training, upskilling, and ITSM processes.
- Actively participate in leveraging Automation and AI to improve operations.




- Mentor junior resources and contribute to learning and development initiatives.

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science/IT or Engineering.
- 12–15 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably in managed services.
- Expert knowledge of Nutanix components: AHV, CVM architecture, Prism, LCM, NCC, and Data Resiliency (RF2/RF3).
- Deep expertise in Nutanix AHV with strong knowledge of VMware ESXi integration.
- Strong proficiency in Python or PowerShell for automating Nutanix tasks through REST APIs.
- Excellent understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, and OVS (Open vSwitch) in a Nutanix environment.
- Advanced Linux administration skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work in 24x7 shifts, including night shifts.

Desirable Requirements

- Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP-MCI) or Nutanix Certified Advanced Qualified (NCAP).
- Experience and expertise in leveraging Automation to improve operations.
- Hands-on expertise in programming languages such as Python/Go and tools such as Ansible and GitHub.
- Good understanding of GenAI and its application in improving operations.
- Industry certifications in VMware, Cisco, or related technologies.
