The API Web Automation Testing Professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test strategies and scripts for API services and their integration with web applications. This role ensures the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of APIs, contributing to the overall quality of software products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts for API testing using industry-standard tools and programming languages (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Java, Python).
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on API specifications and business requirements, covering functional, integration, performance, and security aspects.
- Execute automated API tests, analyze results, and identify defects, documenting them meticulously in defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).




- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand API functionalities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Integrate automated API tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable productive and continuous testing.
- Monitor API performance and stability, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Stay updated with the latest API testing tools, technologies, and best practices, continuously improving testing methodologies and frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and testability.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
