- - Job Summary
- - We are seeking an experienced DM Neurologist / Consultant Neurologist to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with neurological disorders. The candidate will be responsible for outpatient and inpatient consultations, neurological assessments, treatment planning, and coordination with other medical specialties.
- - Key Responsibilities
- - - Conduct detailed neurological examinations and clinical assessments.
- - Diagnose and manage neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, headache, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, and movement disorders.
- - Provide OPD and IPD consultations and follow-up care.
- - Evaluate and manage neurological emergencies, including acute stroke and seizures.
- - Interpret relevant neurological investigations such as MRI, CT, EEG, EMG/NCS, and other diagnostic reports.
- - Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- - Coordinate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, intensivists, physicians, and other specialists when required.
- - Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
- - Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, prognosis,



and preventive care.
- - Participate in clinical meetings, academic activities, and hospital quality initiatives.
- - Follow hospital protocols, medical ethics, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- - Eligibility
- - - DM/DNB/DrNB in Neurology from a recognized institution.
- - MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine or an equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification, as applicable.
- - Valid medical registration.
- - Candidates with relevant experience in a hospital/clinical setting will be preferred.
- - Key Skills
- - - Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in neurology.
- - Expertise in neurological examination and patient management.
- - Good knowledge of neurological investigations and treatment protocols.
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

- - Experience
- - 0–5+ years of relevant experience after DM/DNB/DrNB Neurology; experienced consultants may be preferred depending on the position.
