Global Sales Services & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartners mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales & services leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, youll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartners sales force, which delivers approximately 9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.
Responsibilities
- Stay connected with CSO/ES priorities and track strategic initiatives to help shape process.
- Proactively identify areas of impact in workflow and coordinate with product to support development and implementation.
- Establish a cadence of workflow observations to systematically identify pain and fissure points in CSO/ES workflow and proactively inform business and product.
- Receive and track various requests/asks from CSO/ES and partner with operations teams to define and understand them, preparing to validate priority in governance meetings.
- Maintain and drive agenda of weekly operational reviews and biweekly technology prioritization meetings with CSO.
- Ensure internal coordination on development for CSO/ES so that business perceives Service Tech as a cohesive team working on their top priorities.
- Partner with product analytics to proactively generate insights to inform and drive problem solving to product, change management and business.
Requirements
- Graduate with 4+ years of professional experience in related roles
- Champion mindset - innovative by nature, optimistic and driven to only accept the best for the business.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills; excellent analytical skills; ability to analyze large datasets and translate raw information into actionable insights.
- Outstanding project management skills with an ability to run complex projects, meet deadlines and prioritize workloads.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create and deliver effective dashboards, decks and updates for use by multiple levels of staff, up to and including the executive level.
- Strong influencing skills; ability to create alignment on objectives, vision and plan in a fast paced, heavily matrixed organization. Ability to manage stakeholders.
- Strong interviewing/focus group and surveying skills to determine identify best practices, barriers, opportunities and to synthesize those with relative importance and make recommendations. Ability to apply these skills both to clients and Service Delivery associates.
- Very solid Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong presentation skills both to service and executive leadership.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams and large amounts of detail simultaneously.
