We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 4+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, MIS, reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, and management reporting.
This opportunity is with a growing Advisory/Consulting firm, where the role will involve working closely with clients and handling a broad range of finance and accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting and finance activities for clients.
- Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and Cash Flow Statements.
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports, management reports and financial dashboards.
- Perform bank, ledger, inter-company and other account reconciliations.
- Analyze financial performance, variances and key business drivers.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for timely completion of finance and accounting deliverables.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in accounting and reporting processes.
- Assist clients with financial analysis and provide meaningful insights to management.
- Work in a client-facing Advisory/Consulting environment and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
- Minimum 4+ years of post-qualification experience – Mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience in month-end/year-end closing and financial statement preparation.
- Valuable understanding of reconciliations, accounting processes and compliance.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Good communication and client-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client assignments.
Preferred
- Prior experience in a Consulting / Advisory / CA firm is preferred.
- Experience working with multiple clients or managing outsourced finance and accounting assignments will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in accounting process improvement, MIS automation or ERP implementation will be preferred.

- This is a Finance & Accounts / Advisory role, not a Statutory Audit-focused position.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a small and growing Advisory/Consulting firm with a hands-on role.
