Job Role : Platform Architect (ServiceNow)

Work Mode: Hybrid

Purpose of the Position: The ServiceNow Platform Architect will lead the strategic evolution and governance of the ServiceNow platform across the organization. This role combines deep platform expertise with architectural leadership to drive innovation, ensure platform integrity, and support delivery teams. The architect will function as a trusted advisor, technical authority, and thought leader, enabling scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise and business objectives

Key Responsibilities:

Recent Prospect Solutioning:

- Planning Estimation for new project
- Evaluate ServiceNow can meet the business needs Value Proposition
- Contribute to project scoping, effort estimation, and resource planning.
- Produce high level architecture diagram.
- Identify platform-specific risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Technical Input for RFPs

Consulting Solution Design Architecture (Presales to Delivery):

- Develop robust,



consultative relationships with stakeholders across business and IT.
- Provide honest, transparent guidanceeven if it means challenging the status quo.
- Be initiative-taking in identifying risks and opportunities that impact customer success.
- Help customersmaximize ROIfrom ServiceNow investments.
- Support integration architecture using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server
- Define CI/CD deployment strategies with delivery teams.
- Anticipate future needs and scalability concerns.
- Advocate for features, enhancements, or integrations that improve business outcomes

Coaching - Regular Collaboration with Delivery team:

- Work closely with Product managers and stakeholders to ensure solution alignment.
- Guide development teams on best practices, coding standards, and optimal use of ServiceNow modules.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to team.
- Communication to team on new features and rollout related to ServiceNow.
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing across the project team.
- Guide the technical team for knowledge advancement within ServiceNow.
- Quality Assurance Best Practice Guidelines. (with Delivery)

Co-Innovation:

- Maintain a Tech Radar for ServiceNow, PoCs on Upcoming product,



and platform offerings on ServiceNow, including AI, Data and PaaS services.
- Lead PoCs on emerging ServiceNow capabilities including AI, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence
- Evaluate marketplace solutions and contribute to reusable frameworks.
- Take ownership of learning path for grooming fresher junior members to make them excel in ServiceNow development and operations

Technical Leadership:

- Guide solution design and architecture across multiple ServiceNow modules.
- Set standards for development, integration, and platform governance.
- Mentor developers and junior architects, fostering technical excellence.
- Liaison with VW Group ServiceNow contacts.
- Support implementing continuous improvement within existing

Years of Experience: 812 years of experience in ServiceNow across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM modules, with at least 2 years as a platform architect

Technical Skills Required

- ServiceNow Modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM)
- ServiceNow Integration (REST, SOAP, MID Server), CI/CD, DevOps
- SaaS, PaaS environment development deployment
- Core IT knowledge - System Interfaces, System upgrades, migration to new systems, OEM Licensing models
- Knowledge of IT Strategies, IT Security, Business Continuity
- ServiceNow AI, Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent
- Knowledge of Access Control Rules (ACLs), GDPR, Instance Security
