Job Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for Regulatory Compliance Review, Monitoring and Testing, including:
- Conduct standalone compliance reviews across critical functions as per the Annual Compliance Review Plan.
- Review and test internal controls for adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.
- Verify implementation and compliance with new regulations / regulatory guidelines.
- Analyse IRDAI orders issued to peer insurance companies and assess the company's compliance against relevant regulatory observations.
- Carry out Investment Compliance verification.
- Assist in regulatory compliance monitoring and testing assignments.
- Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders for closure of compliance observations.
- Handle other time-bound assignments relating to regulatory compliance, review and monitoring.
Candidate Profile
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Internal Audit, Compliance Reviews and Compliance Testing.
- Candidate should be currently working with or have relevant experience in a Life Insurance Company.
- Good understanding of IRDAI regulations and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office.
Qualification
Preferred Primary Qualification:
- CA / CA Final
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- CS
- MBA
- LLB
Additional Preferred Experience
Candidates having exposure to any of the following will have an advantage:
- Information Security Audits

- ACL or other audit / compliance testing tools
