Job Title: Assistant Manager- Commercials

Location: New Delhi, India
Reporting To: Manager- Accounts

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and operationally strong Assistant Manager Commercial to manage end-to-end commercial operations across EXIM, banking, and domestic logistics. This role requires deep expertise in cross-border trade, FEMA compliance, and banking, along with robust coordination across internal teams, vendors, and

external stakeholders.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. EXIM Operations (Import & Export)

- Manage end-to-end import and export processes, including:
- Documentation
- Customs coordination
- Compliance requirements
- Liaise with customs authorities, CHA agents, and logistics partners.
- Ensure smooth movement of goods across borders with full regulatory compliance.
- Oversee costing and commercial structuring of EXIM transactions.

2. International Business & Entity Management

- Manage commercial and banking operations for Nature Bond International.
- Handle cross-border financial transactions and ensure regulatory compliance.




- Coordinate with international vendors and partners for smooth execution of transactions.

3. Banking Operations (Domestic & International)

- Oversee: India-based banking operations, International banking transactions
- Ensure timely execution of: Payments, Remittances, Trade finance activities, Maintain strong working relationships with banks and financial institutions.

4. Compliance & Regulatory Management

- Ensure adherence to: FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) regulations, EXIM laws and, international trade compliance, Domestic logistics compliance such as e-way bills
- Stay updated with regulatory changes affecting trade and banking.

5. Logistics & Operational Oversight

- Monitor and manage end-to-end flow of goods from an operational and compliance
- standpoint.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure:
- Accurate tracking of goods movement
- Compliance with documentation and statutory requirements
- Ensure alignment between logistics, accounting, and commercial functions.

6. Vendor Management & Negotiation

- Negotiate with: Domestic vendors, International suppliers, Logistics and service providers, Optimize costs while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

7. Stakeholder & Relationship Management

- Maintain strong networks with: Customs authorities, Banks,



Vendors (domestic & international), Logistics partners, Act as a key coordination point across internal and external stakeholders.

Goals of the roles:

- Ensure end-to-end EXIM operations with accurate documentation and zero delays
- Maintain 100% compliance with FEMA, EXIM laws, and regulatory requirements
- Achieve timely customs clearance and smooth cross-border movement of goods
- Ensure error-free and timely banking transactions (payments, remittances, trade finance)
- Drive cost optimization in logistics, vendors, and international transactions
- Ensure efficient coordination with customs, banks, vendors, and logistics partners
- Maintain end-to-end visibility and tracking of shipments
- Build and manage strong stakeholder and vendor relationships
- Ensure alignment between logistics, finance, and operations teams
- Minimize delays, compliance risks, and operational inefficiencies

Skills & Qualifications

- 7–10 years in commercial/EXIM roles
- Experience in trading or manufacturing (mandatory)
- Exposure to logistics & supply chain operations (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of FEMA, EXIM processes & customs compliance
- Experience in domestic & international banking, trade finance
- Understanding of e-way bills & logistics compliance
- Strong commercial acumen (costing & negotiation)
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management
- Ability to manage complex, high-value transactions
- High ownership & accountability
- Operational and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills
- Ability to perform in high-pressure environments
