Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Instrumentalist to provide practical music training to students and develop their musical abilities. The candidate will teach instrumental techniques, conduct individual and group practice sessions, and prepare students for school events, competitions, assemblies, and cultural programmes.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach students to play one or more musical instruments through structured practical sessions.

- Provide age-appropriate instruction in instrumental techniques, music theory, rhythm, notation, and performance.

- Conduct individual and group instrumental classes and practice sessions.

- Identify students musical strengths and help develop their performance skills.

- Prepare students for annual functions, school assemblies, competitions, concerts, and cultural events.

- Train and coordinate school music bands and instrumental ensembles.

- Assist students with song selection, arrangements, rehearsals, and stage performances.

- Maintain and monitor the proper use, storage, and basic upkeep of musical instruments.

- Encourage creativity, discipline, teamwork, and confidence through music.

- Coordinate with the Music/Performing Arts Department for school events and productions.

- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.

- Maintain a safe, positive,



and engaging learning environment.

Instruments

Candidates proficient in one or more of the following are preferred:
Keyboard/Piano | Guitar | Tabla | Drums | Violin | Flute | Harmonium | Percussion | Other Indian/Western Instruments

Requirements

- Bachelor s/Master s degree or diploma in Music, Instrumental Music, Performing Arts, or a related field.

- Formal training or certification in the relevant instrument(s).

- Solid practical knowledge and performance skills.

- Prior experience teaching children in a school, academy, or music institution is preferred.

- Good communication and classroom-management skills.

- Ability to conduct group rehearsals and school performances.
