- The Program Lead / Senior Program Lead will play a strategic leadership role in driving policy research, program management, stakeholder engagement, and implementation support across sustainability and development-focused initiatives
- The role requires deep sectoral understanding, strong program leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multi-stakeholder initiatives within areas such as clean energy, sustainability, climate resilience, circular economy, inclusive development, and green transitions
- The position involves leading research-driven programs from conceptualization to implementation while contributing to evidence generation, policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, and strategic program development
- The candidate will work closely with governments, development agencies, industry stakeholders, research institutions, and funding partners to support scalable and impact-oriented initiatives
- The role demands a balance of strategic thinking, research orientation, program execution, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities

Key Responsibilities

- Research & Technical Analysis Conduct and lead policy research, sectoral analysis, and strategic assessments across clean energy, sustainability, climate, and development sectors
- Analyze policy frameworks, regulatory developments, market trends, financing mechanisms, and institutional ecosystems relevant to sustainable development, energy or other initiatives
- Track national and international policy developments, regulatory frameworks, market trends, and emerging technologies relevant to sustainability transitions
- Develop policy briefs, whitepapers, analytical reports, concept notes, consultation papers, and knowledge resources for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop evidence-based program design & Research framework through data analysis, field insights, stakeholder consultations, and ecosystem mapping
- Provide strategic and research inputs for program design, implementation frameworks, ecosystem interventions,



and institutional partnerships
- Undertake qualitative and quantitative research activities including literature reviews, surveys, consultations, interviews, presentations, data analysis and impact assessments
- Contribute to the development of strategic recommendations and implementation frameworks for programs and partnerships

Program Management & Implementation

- Lead end-to-end program management including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, budgeting, and program scale-up activities
- Develop implementation strategies, operational frameworks, work plans, timelines, and performance tracking systems for multiple projects and programs
- Oversee program delivery across multi-state or national-level initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational and stakeholder objectives
- Manage program budgets, resource allocation, financial oversight, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, implementation partners, development agencies, government stakeholders, and ecosystem partners to ensure effective execution
- Monitor program risks, timelines, deliverables, and impact indicators to ensure high-quality and timely delivery
- Lead cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams while fostering collaboration, accountability, and performance management
- Support program reviews, evaluation processes, impact assessments, and learning documentation
- Support proposal development, donor engagement, and preparation of technical documentation for projects and partnerships
- Represent the organization in consultations, workshops,



conferences, roundtables, and stakeholder discussions

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

- Build and strengthen relationships with policymakers, ministries, government agencies, development partners, research institutions, multilaterals, funding agencies, and industry stakeholders
- Lead multi-stakeholder consultations, strategic partnerships, and cooperative engagements for program development and implementation
- Support institutional engagement and ecosystem-building initiatives aligned with organizational priorities
- Identify opportunities for partnerships, strategic collaborations, and sectoral engagements to strengthen program impact and visibility

Who Should apply

- Must Have the qualification, skills, competencies and knowledge of the following -Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills
- Postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Sustainability, Development Studies, Environmental Management, Energy Management, Climate Studies, Energy Economics, MBA, or related disciplines
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Economics, Environmental Sciences, or related fields is preferred

Experience

- 10-15 years of professional experience in sustainability, clean energy, climate change, public policy, development sector, or related domains
- 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in leading large-scale programs like energy and Climate change development program
- Experience working with government departments, multilateral organizations, development agencies, think tanks, research institutions, consulting organizations, or industry platforms
- Strong expertise in developing policy reports, research studies, strategic documents, proposals, and knowledge resources
- Experience managing program budgets, implementation timelines, reporting structures, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to independently manage multiple strategic assignments in dynamic and evolving environments
