Job Description

We are looking for a bright, responsible, and academically strong home tutor to guide a Class 12 student in preparation for the *Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG)*.

The tutor will be responsible for strengthening the students Class 12 concepts, improving subject knowledge, developing examination strategy, and conducting regular practice through mock tests and previous-year questions.

Candidates from reputed institutions such as *IITs, JNU, Delhi University, or other leading colleges and universities* are encouraged to apply. Robust final-year students and recent graduates with excellent academic records may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach CUET-related subjects according to the students subjects and target university.

- Strengthen the students Class 12 syllabus and conceptual understanding.

- Prepare a structured weekly and monthly study plan.

- Conduct regular topic-wise tests, CUET-style practice tests, and mock examinations.

- Teach time management, question-selection, accuracy, and examination techniques.

- Track the students progress and identify areas requiring improvement.

- Share periodic feedback with the parent or guardian.

- Provide suitable study material, practice questions, and revision guidance.

- Support preparation for the CUET General Test and English section, where applicable.

- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and confidentiality.

### Candidate Profile

- Solid academic record from IIT, JNU, Delhi University, or another reputed institution.

- Graduate, postgraduate, final-year student, or exceptionally capable undergraduate.

- Prior experience in CUET, entrance-examination,



or Class 1112 tutoring preferred.

- Excellent command of English and the relevant academic subjects.

- Good communication, patience, discipline, and mentoring ability.

- Ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

- Familiarity with the CUET syllabus, examination pattern, and current admission process.

- Willingness to travel to Vasant Vihar for home tuition.

- References, academic certificates, or a short demonstration class may be requested.

Timings and Engagement

- *Frequency:* 35 classes per week.

Compensation

*800–1,200 per hour*, depending on academic background, CUET experience, subjects taught, and demonstrated teaching ability.

For an IIT/JNU student or a highly capable tutor with relevant entrance-examination experience, you may consider *1,200–1,800 per hour*. Delhi tuition listings show Class 11–12 rates commonly ranging from approximately 500 to 1,000 per hour, while premium or entrance-examination tutoring can be higher.

A practical starting offer for your requirement would be:

- *Strong undergraduate student:* 700–900 per hour.

- *IIT/JNU/Du student with good subject knowledge:* 900–1,300 per hour.

- *Experienced CUET mentor or reputed entrance-exam faculty:* 1,300–1,800 per hour.

For a regular schedule of four 2-hour classes per week at 1,000 per hour, the approximate monthly cost would be *32,000*, assuming four weeks.
