Job Description:

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a talented HVAC Designer II to join our dedicated team at our office in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad locations.

Position Responsibilities

- Develop HVAC drawings based on inputs received from the Engineer, i.e., Airflow Diagrams, Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP), Duct Layout, Chilled Water Piping Layouts.
- Coordinate HVAC drawings with other building services (e.g., electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
- Prepare and issue coordinated drawings reflecting clash-free and integrated services layouts as per LOD 300 to LOD 400.
- Prepare detailed BOQ for air distribution devices, i.e., Duct area, Dampers, Diffuser, Grille, HEPA, RA risers, etc.
- Ensure quantities are accurate and suitable for tendering and estimation purposes.
- Review fabrication/shop drawings submitted by vendors or contractors.
- Visit the site to verify actual installation conditions.
- Prepare and update As-Built drawings reflecting final executed work.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Basic understanding of Clean Room Layout Design & Pharma standard.
- Preparation of Airflow Diagrams, Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP), Duct Layout, Chilled Water Piping Layouts.
- Knowledge of LOD standards (LOD 300 to LOD 400).
- Good understanding of MEP Services (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing coordination).
- Ability to coordinate effectively with MEP disciplines.
- Basic understanding of HVAC duct design standards and best practices.
