About the Role

We are a growing Pan-India restaurant chain specialising in Italian cuisine, with a strong focus on gourmet New York-style pizzas.

We're looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) to join our Mohali outlet. You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead the team, maintain excellent service standards and ensure smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily FOH operations, shift planning and smooth opening/closing procedures.

- Lead, brief and supervise Captains, Stewards and service staff during shifts.

- Maintain high standards of guest experience, service sequence, grooming, hygiene and restaurant SOPs.

- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and ensure effective service recovery.

- Monitor POS/KOT operations, billing, cash/card settlements, voids, discounts and daily closing reports.

- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain order accuracy and ticket times.

- Manage staff rosters, attendance, shift allocation, training and performance.

- Drive upselling, average-per-cover (APC) and daily sales performance while maintaining genuine hospitality.

- Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage,



breakages and requisitions and support cost-control procedures.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and operational checklists.

- Support reservations, table management and efficient utilisation of restaurant capacity.

- Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily reports, operational audits and achievement of outlet targets.

Who We're Looking For

- Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor / Senior Captain with a reputed restaurant, hotel or established F&B; brand.

- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, POS systems, inventory, cost control and F&B; service standards.

- Excellent team leadership, guest-handling and problem-solving skills.

- Commercially aware and comfortable working with sales targets and restaurant KPIs.

- Experience with Italian cuisine, gourmet pizza or premium casual dining is an advantage.

- Presentable, organised, dependable and comfortable leading from the floor during busy services.
